MAN OF STEEL

File:ManofSteelFinalPoster.jpg I saw the movie today and here are my thoughts.

While I like that new suit and stuff I honestly thought the movie was way too long.

For one thing in the begging there are constant flash backs just to show the audience how Superman grew up and it only went up to him at around 12 to 13 years old and another problem I have is the pacing for much of the begging everything was rushed like the Lois lane discovering superman Identity and him switching from one job to another seemed pointless with the pacing.

The action parts are good though and the fact I like how the soldiers that fight the villains aren't portrayed as helpless and do a decent job helping superman.

NOW REMEBER THIS IS MY POINT OF VIEW AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN THATS TOO DAMN BAD.

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

Box of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean MachineOne of my favorite games as a kid while Street fighter and many others were there I thought This game should be reviewed.

Back in the day when Video games where at the top of the line and Sega and Nintendo were at huge conflict at who had the better games and consuls. While The Mean bean may not be well know to most gamers since This is one of the few Sonic Games where sonic does not appear at all it did decent on the market at the time and got good reviews.
As shown in this photo you have the option of story mode where you challenge each boss or 2 Player mode. which I don't use Two player mode.

The object is to get each bean 4 or more to connect to each other and disappear the more you do the more rocks the other player will get making it harder for them to win and you have to not reach the surface cause if you do all the beans and rocks collide down and it's game over.

Another interesting note that This game was one of the few to be based more on the cartoon and this does not happen often with sonic  and one thing I like about is the music and the quick pace you have to do when you get to the harder levels and the best part is you can always try again and have to actually start from the beginning like most games at the time that did not have save features.

The Great Gatsby (2013)

TheGreatGatsby2012Poster.jpg

A yes the Jazz Age and what an age it was when music and money were really big at the time and music by African American's also at that time was starting to really become popular. and Keep in mind a lot of this happen before the stock market crashed of 1929.

Although I never read the book I have seen the classic cover a lot and what's sad that despite it being popular today it was a big flop in sales and critics called the writer out of touched back in 1925 after that his career then became more difficult.
File:Francis Scott Fitzgerald 1937 June 4 (1) (photo by Carl van Vechten).jpg.

When I watched the movie I really liked the music and all the craziness of everyone at Gatsby's parties or at those what I  call clubs at the time which were secret hideouts for people who want to drink due to probation at the time and even cops are seen but don't care since they are dying for a drink making me wonder did people really bribe the cops that well back then.

The affairs where kind of annoying to me I mean sure seeing it like once or twice is fine but this movie did this way too often and What my next problem is that Nick Carraway seemed to had his chance with a woman, but after the car crash it nothing happens between them.

The Funeral is dark cold and depressing a man who took the blame for that dead woman and her husband comes and kills Gatsby with a gun before killing himself.

The ending is also like bad to worse and that almost nothing good has come out of any of the characters putting the ending to the were Nick on what looks like he's writing a book although it's really a memoir to which I guess to publish for people to know the real truth.

Well This isn't Leonardo DiCaprio best film but it's interesting non the less although I do wish he choose movies more often that are not set in the 1920's -1930's.

Iron man 3

File:Iron Man 3 theatrical poster.jpg

That was a pretty interesting movie. Spoiler alert for those of you who haven't seen the movie stop reading and go watch the film.

iron man was one of those super hero's that rely on his brain and is the brains of many tools he builds to help him in his needs, the suits I saw in the cartoon back in 90's it was cool to see that iron man  made a bunch of suits as well although he said he only did it as a hobby while in the cartoon I think I was  the other way around.

For those of you wondering where Stan lee is there is a scene about a pageant show on a TV and he is one of the judges who give the girl a 10 likely to be how he rates this movie.

The villain in the movie or villains are people who are pretty much made of flame that can repair lost tissue or amputated limps and that they can breath fire and burn any living thing to a cloud of ash. Iron man seems to be even more crazy suits as he has a computer that has an independent mind as while as being able to use the suits which is pretty cool that the computer is able to hold its own in battle against those fire people.

While I don't often like comedy outside of cartoons this one has some pretty good stuff and I recommended it worth laughing.

This film also seems to leave a message that not all terrorist are Muslims in fact it's an American terrorist and which I say will show Muslims or the middle east that  Hollywood is not trying to make them look bad and show people that stereotype leaves a bad message.

I say this is one film the middle East would be happy to see.

A sister's revenge T.V. Movie

The T.V. movie that I saw not too long ago was an interesting one.
I Watch those drama's on lifetime from time to time often where the main character is accused of a crime he didn't commit. And A Sister's revenge Is no exception as far as the plot goes I say is a little extreme since for those of you who watched it, what that woman try to do to take revenge on the man who dated her sister who killed herself years ago. The woman even goes as far to threaten to kill his child. This is as far as I want to say without spoiling too much, but this is the TV movie to go watch.

42 (Film)

When we think of baseball we often think of  hitting homeruns, video games, even chewing gum and popcorn in the stadium. Or we go back when the They went by an unwritten code that no African American or anyone other then white players could play in the majors. That's right I'm talking about the film 42.
42 film poster.jpg When I went to go see it I was surprised that many people who came brought there baseball caps almost all of them were Detroit Tigers hats, but  I had the idea of the direction they were going, That in my point of view was for them to show full support for the hero that brought new idea's to the world in not just baseball but the USA.
.
Arguably Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron are considered the best just because they made the most homeruns, Sure they made there mark, but Jackie Robinson brought the world on new ears with the who becoming the man who broke the color barrio and forming a friendship of a white player named Pee Wee Reese who brought silence to people watching them. Pee Wee Reese - Gillette commercial.jpg The scene in the movie was one of the most amazing things I ever saw, but my favorite part are the words as they say in the history books that Leo Durocher said was "I do not care if the guy is yellow or black, or if he has stripes like a fuckin' zebra. I'm the manager of this team, and I say he plays"

The fact that the Jackie's Number 42 which is the only one in MLB history to be Retired by all the major teams, now that's shows something what the babe never achieved.

I read that Jackie's family had been excited to see the movie although I have not read there reaction's I do bet that they had enjoyed the film.

Dexters lab DEXTER'S RUDE REMOVAL

Now I've remember as a kid in 90's cartoons really took a new turn and Dexter's lab was one of them, it's about genius Boy who is annoyed by his dumb blond older sister and has use science in order to save the world and for benefits.

The show run April 28, 1996 (1996-04-28) – November 20, 2003 and at the time it was one of the most popular original shows cartoon network aired at the time.

the series' title card, reading "Dexter's Laboratory: Produced and Created by Genndy Tartakovsky" The series had a few kicks to it, mainly like Dexter being naked, and a few bad words that's aren't swear words like crap and the violence. But no episode has ever been so widely request then one called as you see in the photo down there called Rude Removal and you see Dee Dee giving the finger and Dexter showing his butt.

I don't know if they wanted to air it on TV or maybe they did it simply for fun I don't know and what ever the reason it was never released during the series run or for many years after it's cancelation. I'm not giving away much, but what I will say is that character's course although they are bleeped.

The episode was only shown during certain animation festivals in it's early years and after that it would never see the light of day until 2013 when adult swim asked if they could air it. They did but just before doing so they asked people on twitter if they wanted to see the response was so high that it became official it's going on the air, and since then YouTube and adult swim played it and everyone is happy.

ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD REVIEW

NOW when it comes to using bad games I say nobody does a better job then Angry Video Game Nerd or AVGN for short.

I could be talking about the Guy all day If I could. Where should I start... Oh ya how I found out about the guy. Well it started 6 years ago when the nerd was starting to really peak into popularity.

File:James D. Rolfe.jpg Now I found out about him when I was looking up a video on Youtube called File:Friday the 13th NES.png and I decided to give it try and watch his video and loved it. I started going through other videos he made, And the my favorite ones are not about video games, but the movies he reviews. my personal favorite movie reivew that he did was Transformers 1986File:Transformers-movieposter-west.jpg Which I'll talk about another time.

\I always love watching is the Cinemasscure Monster Madness which he reviews horror movies each day October he loves everyone of them no matter how bad the movie's are.

For those of you who are wondering, no I'm not gonna do a review about The Nostalgia Critic because I never bothered to watch enought videos to do it and besides that guy bores me.

Another thing I love to see on the screen are his cats mainly Boo the male black cat who was giving the Nick Name Death Kitty on  Atari Jaguar Part 2.File:Jaguar Logo.png His knowlege of all these cultures of games and movies that I never even heard of just gave a new view on this stuff and brought me into loving much more video games then ever.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1990 (film) and other stuff

Now if your wondering, NO I didn't watch this movie when it came out because I wasn't born yet.

File:TMNTMoviePoster.jpg Now before I even watched the movie I didn't even know it existed until I was like maybe Five, and often I perferd other cartoons like Double dragon, street sharks and Extreme Dinosaurs at the time.  I almost never watched the orignal TMNT, the only time I even watched cartoon where on VHS tapes but there weren't that many so I knew very little about TMNT other then the fact they were Turtles living New York.  WHen I first heard about the movie I thought it was for kids, but when I saw it I was Surpised that it was not as kid friendly as I thought.

When I was 16 I looked up the movie online and Found out that it was based on the Orginal comic books of TMNT.

It would be years later before I would meet the worlds largest TMNT collector and a very good friend. Michele Ivey who I heard about on YouTube and later meet her on online and we became friends she even showed me some of the movie props, besides that she's good friend who showed me her family and I've gotten into some insteating facts about the turtle from her.

File:Kevin Eastman.jpgThis is Kevin Eastman. I meet him at a Convention few years back and asked this Qustion. How do you feel about the movie since is was mor faithful to the comics then the cartoon. He said he was very happy that they choose to do that.

Disclosure Book

MichaelCrighton Disclosure.jpg This is the book I say has brought new views on Sexual harassment, according to Michael Crichton before the book was made he heard about a case of a man and a woman in accusing each other of harassment and the company is having trouble deciding what to do, like should they fire one, or both or drop it.

But compaired to the book it was nowhere near anything big it was more like a small private case, but Michael thought he could make a better story about situations like that when the problem like that happen.

Released in 1994 it was popluar and well recived by critcs. Although if your wondering what the women thought, yes they were angry mostly just the activist who thought it was against women since this harassment is like in reversed meaning instead of a man sexual harassening a woman it's the woman whos doing the Sexual harrassment to the man.

Note I have nothing against women, but the truth is case's like that do happen and the reason people don't hear this stuff much at all is due to several facts, like pride, embrassment, fear of losing job, and other things. But I personal see this book has changed the view's of sexual harassment. So remeber woman Do it too.

The book has since been made into a movie also in 1994 since the rights were bought before the book was published.

L.A. Noire

File:LA-Noire-Box-Art.jpg Now of all the games that I have been dying to try other then RESIDENT EVIL 6 Is L.A Nore.

One thing I love about this game is that even when your not doing a mission you have complete freedom of where you can go thats not reistced like in Spiderman 2 but you drive around and stuff almost like Grand theft auto but you are the good guy instead of a crimal.

Not willing to give all away but I'll tell what you actully have to do, In this game like Fahrenheit  You have to ask quistion that deteremed your choices on what you have to do and what you get in return, but unlike Fahrenheit your choices which have to be all the correct answers that's what gives you better benifets.

Now the face's and movements are very realistic and this is done by accroding to the internet a MotionScan behaviors expressons are very real and how they move prove to be the best I've seen, although the only problems I have so far is the Driving which if you kill people or do damage you lower your rank and the other problem I have is that all those women face's look alike. I know there are different face's of some women, but many look the same.

Here's and instresting Title change which was done for to give the game better sales or somthing like that.

Night of the living dead and Resident evil game 1

When it comes to zombies we think about the Night of the living Dead by George A. Romero, Monster that does not ever need to look the same at all compaired to Dracula or other classics.

Although Zombie movies have been made before, they were differen't kind of zombie for one thing they don't have rotton flesh and have almost nothing compaired to Romero Zombies.
The funny Thing about Night of the Living dead, they were never even called zombies in the movie, often called flesh eaters, or simply killers. One instresting fact is that a major film studio had wanted to buy the film, but on the condtion they change the ending to add a love scene instead, I'm so glad that George said no, but at the time movies without happy ending were almost none existent even at the time when it was released in 1968 and another thing was kids were allowed in because there was no Rated R at the time and I don't know why they let kids in, but what I read and heard about what happened was that everyone who saw in 68 was shocked and horrifide to see that stuff on the big screen and worst of all kids were crying at least thats what I read. So Rumor has it that after Night of the living dead and Bonnie and Clyde thats how the R rating came into the world, but often many people in the movie industry at that time have said it's not the case.

Painted theatrical release that includes various credits, an ominous zombie looking over the horizon, and the words "Dawn of the Dead" in military print below.

After that he made his next Film called DAWN OF THE DEAD. Little did they know those films would inspire many famous zombie games. Like Dead Rising for Dawn of the dead, and RESIDENT Evil for NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD.
Deadrising boxart.jpg

I've have also Got somthing to say about the First two game Of Resident evil.Resident Evil logo.png While very Popluar name it's not the real name it's actully Biohazard.

Now when Shinji Mikami started working one the game he has said that other then the George Romero's Films he also did it in repsonse to Zombi 2 an itlian film from his disapointment.

Also horror movies inovled with mansion's may have also helped with idea's for the background.

File:Resident Evil 1 cover.png Although I never actully got to compelet the game I did enjoy it alot for that the puzzles which are hard at first, but easily figure out fast and when you fight the zombies you gotta be careful how close you are like if you fire all your rounds and you let your charactor reload herself on the screen then the chance's of getting attack will incress.

Despite the bad accents and voice actors the game became a hit and would Spawn the series we now know Today and it's still going with RESIDENT EVIL 6 the lastest.

Michael Crichton author and JURASSIC PARK novel

Now for many fans who wonder who actully created Jurassic Park many people would say Steven Spielberg File:Steven Spielberg Masterclass Cinémathèque Française 2 cropped.jpg While yes in a way it seemed like he did make JURASSIC PARK, but that was only the movie he made back in the early 90's which was then released in 1993 which helped make dinosaurs more Popluar and creating a mark for the series, but the real creature is actully Michael Crichton who sold the rights before it was even published, which was done by a bid and Universal won the bid and because Steven was good friends with Michael and the fact that he loved the story so Much that is what you could say how it really happened, but the story was too long and so only 10 to 20 percent of book is in the movie.

Now about the Novel it felt like everything in book was well detailed with the story mainly the parts about strange animal attacks in the early parts of the story. Now the animals in the book were intresting as it had to do more on the bases of animals rather then just monsters that wanna eat people.

The book brought people new ideas about science and DNA and Cloning in those days and while everything has bascily been disproven by todays science like T.rex can't see if you don't move that theory that's been used often in the book and movie has since been discredit because it turns out if it did such a thing it would has a less chance of survial.Jurassicpark.jpg

Here is a note accroding to aurthor himself and how the book came to be.

Note From Michael
I wrote a screenplay about cloning a pterodactyl from fossil DNA in 1983, but the story wasn't convincing. I worked on it for several years since, trying to make it more credible. Finally I decided on a theme park setting, and wrote a novel from the point of view of a young boy who was present when the dinosaurs escaped. I then sent the book to the usual people who read my first drafts.

Over the years, I've come to rely on five or six people who read my drafts; generally they have a range of responses. Not this time. They were all in agreement: they hated Jurassic Park.

I got angry reactions such as, "Why would you write a book like this?" But when I asked them to explain exactly why they hated it, they couldn't put their finger on anything in particular. They just hated it, that's all. Hated every bit of it.

I wrote another draft. They hated that one, too. Just as strongly as the one before. Whatever I had done in the latest draft, it hadn't helped.

I wrote another draft, but the result remained the same.

Finally one of the readers said that they were irritated with the story because they wanted it to be from an adult point of view, not a kid point of view. They said, "I want this to be a story for me." Meaning for an adult.

So I rewrote it as an adult story.

And then everybody liked it.

Michael Crichton is author who's words changed the world in movies, laws and lives of people and here's an instesting fact, Crichton has became the only creative artist ever to have works simultaneously charting at No. 1 in television, film, and book sales which goes to show you from a man who was orignally going to be a doctor he sure has come a long way even after his death in 2008 from throat cancer.
