Nineteen Eighty-Four the Novel By George Orwell

File:1984first.jpg The book is about A government that controls everything you must say or do in your life.

I heard about the book many times of being one of the most challenged books of all time, it has been banned in many parts of Russia, the USA in the it's early years and before the book was written by George Orwell A photo showing head and shoulders of a middle-aged man with a slim moustache. He was born in what was then British rule India. His category of class is kind of weird to me. Anyway, when he was little his mother took him and his sister to England were he got his education and always wanted to be a writer who worked in several magazines during his early years and beyond until somewhere along the line of the Spanish civil war, were he still did write for a magazine or two, but while they years went by he publish a few books that were I don't know what they are since I never looked them up or read them, but I bet they were different but anyway after the civil war up to WWII was that he started writing books about how the dangers of Totalitarianism were a new thing from early 20th century and most people outside of politics had no clue what it meant, and what Totalitarianism stands for in short is a political system in which the state holds total authority over the society and seeks to control all aspects of public and private life wherever possible.

Orwell first major work that showed what is called ANIMAL FARM, which has many historical plot points of Joseph Stalin, Leon Trotsky,  Nicholas II and Vladimir Lenin as it's about the harsh treatment of the working clash on the farm ruled by Pigs and many of the scenes are based on the historical plot points of the political leader you see above. Animal Farm was difficult to get published from the start as at the time it was during the alliance between the US, UK, and the Soviet Union in WWII and many publisher fear that it would upset the alliance and because of that many publisher refused to print it one almost did, but for some reason an Russian spy managed to get them not to do it. it wasn't until around the end of WWII that it was finally published. After that he started writing 1984, and he wanted the world to see first hand of what life would be like if England was under a Totalitarian government party.

when I read the book it's sad that you can't make any expressions and the government constantly lies or simply recreates the history of what has happened.

The character Winston always seems confused of his earlier life and is trying hard to remember what it was, and the book shows that the government is trying to make sure that everyone in the lower class ends don't have anytime to think there own thoughts, and I found it crazy that they make you attended any prep rally that is nearby and whatever the TV is talking to you, You have to listen and do what it says and one thing The party does make everyone watch called the two minute hate so with all this stuff going on around him Winston could barely get his memory in line to where he barely knows what happened to father or his old wife.

It's dedication of thought is mostly about wondering of what is what and did it really happen, I guess I'll never know kind of thing for people who were born in the 50's and 60's as the party was already in full swing. Nothing is good to begin as news is changing all the time by erasing the past and constantly rewriting it, were it might say it there's a huge supply of chocolate and the next they say that it wasn't in a way that no one can noticed even they try hard.

Everyone who you may know one day and be different in less then a minute with a new look and everyone causing you to think he's real and not real too.

Reading the book blew my mind and with that shows you inside of what if. It's point is that you are nothing, you are this, the government can do this, or I can do this because I have the power.

In the book it talks about words that are becoming out dated and taken off the list and some of the basic of English words are pronounced badly or oddly because that how people are suppose to say them.

There more to the book then what I have written here so go to your local library and start reading 1984 cause it will really change your life.

MAN OF STEEL

File:ManofSteelFinalPoster.jpg I saw the movie today and here are my thoughts.

While I like that new suit and stuff I honestly thought the movie was way too long.

For one thing in the begging there are constant flash backs just to show the audience how Superman grew up and it only went up to him at around 12 to 13 years old and another problem I have is the pacing for much of the begging everything was rushed like the Lois lane discovering superman Identity and him switching from one job to another seemed pointless with the pacing.

The action parts are good though and the fact I like how the soldiers that fight the villains aren't portrayed as helpless and do a decent job helping superman.

NOW REMEBER THIS IS MY POINT OF VIEW AND IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT THEN THATS TOO DAMN BAD.

Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine

Box of Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean MachineOne of my favorite games as a kid while Street fighter and many others were there I thought This game should be reviewed.

Back in the day when Video games where at the top of the line and Sega and Nintendo were at huge conflict at who had the better games and consuls. While The Mean bean may not be well know to most gamers since This is one of the few Sonic Games where sonic does not appear at all it did decent on the market at the time and got good reviews.
As shown in this photo you have the option of story mode where you challenge each boss or 2 Player mode. which I don't use Two player mode.

The object is to get each bean 4 or more to connect to each other and disappear the more you do the more rocks the other player will get making it harder for them to win and you have to not reach the surface cause if you do all the beans and rocks collide down and it's game over.

Another interesting note that This game was one of the few to be based more on the cartoon and this does not happen often with sonic  and one thing I like about is the music and the quick pace you have to do when you get to the harder levels and the best part is you can always try again and have to actually start from the beginning like most games at the time that did not have save features.

The Great Gatsby (2013)

TheGreatGatsby2012Poster.jpg

A yes the Jazz Age and what an age it was when music and money were really big at the time and music by African American's also at that time was starting to really become popular. and Keep in mind a lot of this happen before the stock market crashed of 1929.

Although I never read the book I have seen the classic cover a lot and what's sad that despite it being popular today it was a big flop in sales and critics called the writer out of touched back in 1925 after that his career then became more difficult.
File:Francis Scott Fitzgerald 1937 June 4 (1) (photo by Carl van Vechten).jpg.

When I watched the movie I really liked the music and all the craziness of everyone at Gatsby's parties or at those what I  call clubs at the time which were secret hideouts for people who want to drink due to probation at the time and even cops are seen but don't care since they are dying for a drink making me wonder did people really bribe the cops that well back then.

The affairs where kind of annoying to me I mean sure seeing it like once or twice is fine but this movie did this way too often and What my next problem is that Nick Carraway seemed to had his chance with a woman, but after the car crash it nothing happens between them.

The Funeral is dark cold and depressing a man who took the blame for that dead woman and her husband comes and kills Gatsby with a gun before killing himself.

The ending is also like bad to worse and that almost nothing good has come out of any of the characters putting the ending to the were Nick on what looks like he's writing a book although it's really a memoir to which I guess to publish for people to know the real truth.

Well This isn't Leonardo DiCaprio best film but it's interesting non the less although I do wish he choose movies more often that are not set in the 1920's -1930's.

Iron man 3

File:Iron Man 3 theatrical poster.jpg

That was a pretty interesting movie. Spoiler alert for those of you who haven't seen the movie stop reading and go watch the film.

iron man was one of those super hero's that rely on his brain and is the brains of many tools he builds to help him in his needs, the suits I saw in the cartoon back in 90's it was cool to see that iron man  made a bunch of suits as well although he said he only did it as a hobby while in the cartoon I think I was  the other way around.

For those of you wondering where Stan lee is there is a scene about a pageant show on a TV and he is one of the judges who give the girl a 10 likely to be how he rates this movie.

The villain in the movie or villains are people who are pretty much made of flame that can repair lost tissue or amputated limps and that they can breath fire and burn any living thing to a cloud of ash. Iron man seems to be even more crazy suits as he has a computer that has an independent mind as while as being able to use the suits which is pretty cool that the computer is able to hold its own in battle against those fire people.

While I don't often like comedy outside of cartoons this one has some pretty good stuff and I recommended it worth laughing.

This film also seems to leave a message that not all terrorist are Muslims in fact it's an American terrorist and which I say will show Muslims or the middle east that  Hollywood is not trying to make them look bad and show people that stereotype leaves a bad message.

I say this is one film the middle East would be happy to see.

A sister's revenge T.V. Movie

The T.V. movie that I saw not too long ago was an interesting one.
I Watch those drama's on lifetime from time to time often where the main character is accused of a crime he didn't commit. And A Sister's revenge Is no exception as far as the plot goes I say is a little extreme since for those of you who watched it, what that woman try to do to take revenge on the man who dated her sister who killed herself years ago. The woman even goes as far to threaten to kill his child. This is as far as I want to say without spoiling too much, but this is the TV movie to go watch.

42 (Film)

When we think of baseball we often think of  hitting homeruns, video games, even chewing gum and popcorn in the stadium. Or we go back when the They went by an unwritten code that no African American or anyone other then white players could play in the majors. That's right I'm talking about the film 42.
42 film poster.jpg When I went to go see it I was surprised that many people who came brought there baseball caps almost all of them were Detroit Tigers hats, but  I had the idea of the direction they were going, That in my point of view was for them to show full support for the hero that brought new idea's to the world in not just baseball but the USA.
.
Arguably Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron are considered the best just because they made the most homeruns, Sure they made there mark, but Jackie Robinson brought the world on new ears with the who becoming the man who broke the color barrio and forming a friendship of a white player named Pee Wee Reese who brought silence to people watching them. Pee Wee Reese - Gillette commercial.jpg The scene in the movie was one of the most amazing things I ever saw, but my favorite part are the words as they say in the history books that Leo Durocher said was "I do not care if the guy is yellow or black, or if he has stripes like a fuckin' zebra. I'm the manager of this team, and I say he plays"

The fact that the Jackie's Number 42 which is the only one in MLB history to be Retired by all the major teams, now that's shows something what the babe never achieved.

I read that Jackie's family had been excited to see the movie although I have not read there reaction's I do bet that they had enjoyed the film.
